Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday on FNC’s “Hannity” that the civil lawsuit by New York Attorney General Letitia James is “a continuation of a witch hunt.”
“She ran for it four years ago,” Trump said. “It was a vicious campaign, and she just talked about Trump, we’re going to prosecute him, we’re going to get him. She has nothing to do with me. Know. I’ve never heard of her.”
He added: “She said we were going to get him. Her whole campaign was based on that. Then she came after us. We’ve been working on it for years. I actually think because our values are so high, So the company is great. I built a great company. You have places like this in a lot of other places. Frankly, I love this, just one of the best places in the world. I actually thought they would never bring Came a case, and she brought it. I think the reason is because she doesn’t have a case.
