
Ubisoft has expanded the time frame for reporting cheaters in Rainbow Six: Siege. According to the latest anti-cheat status update, Rainbow Six: Siege can now report after players disconnect from matches in multiplayer and during match replays.
“With the new season coming, we’ve increased the window of opportunity in terms of coverage,” the Siege said in a statement. latest update“Players disconnected from match sessions can now be reported.” The team added that this only applies to ranked and non-ranked matches, but it includes all types of reporting.
Additionally, the developers have enabled reporting during match replays, explaining that reporting in live matches is often impractical or impossible. Watching replays may also highlight actions that players didn’t notice during the match.
“By adding these tools, we hope to continue to provide players with a simplified way to report suspicious/toxic people,” the developers wrote.
Outside of competitions, the team said cheaters can still be reported via social media. If this is the route you choose, Ubisoft says to include clear video or screenshot evidence of the incident, as well as the username and/or ID of the offending player, the match ID, and the date and time of the alleged cheating incident.
Since the last anti-cheat status update, the Siege team says it has taken steps to address several new cheats, including some instant kill cheats, infinite ammo cheats, teleportation hacks, self-recovery cheats, noclip cheats, ‘crazy’ cheats, and more.
