Netflix TV show Nailed It is working on a spin-off video game. Netflix has announced that Paladin Studios is developing a Nailed It video game called Nailed It Baking Bash, which will be released on mobile devices on October 4.

Like TV shows, video games are all about cooking. In the game, players will throw parties for friends and try to recreate popular recipes. Gameplay includes “Rapid Fire” mini-games in which players will bake, paint and decorate their dishes while trying to make really beautiful cakes.

There’s also a multiplayer mode where players can compete against real people to make a cake as fast as possible, which is how the show works. Players can earn “distractions” to make cooking more challenging for your contestants. Check out the trailer below.

According to a report, Netflix aims to have more than 50 games in the Netflix game catalog by the end of 2022. Before that, Netflix worked with Ubisoft on several new games, including another Assassin’s Creed game.

In addition to working with studios like Paladin Studios and Ubisoft, Netflix has been busy acquiring game studios including Boss Fight Entertainment, Next Games and Night School Studio. Part of what sets Netflix’s games apart from others is that they don’t have ads or microtransactions. Players can install games from the Netflix app.

The next Nailed It season, Nailed It: Halloween, was expected to hit theaters in October, but the show ran into production issues while on set Exit in a contract dispute. The show is hosted by comedian Nicole Byer.

In other Netflix news, the streaming company’s new ad-based tier will reportedly launch in November, ahead of Disney Plus’ own ad-based tier in December.
