Mike Judge’s new show, In The Know, will be a big hit on public radio.

This new adult animated comedy goes straight to the peacock, created by Mike Judge, Zach Woods and Brandon Gardner, and will parody NPR – National Public Radio. Of course, it’s animated.

“Lauren Caspian is NPR’s third most popular host,” reads the official bio. “He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical Nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop-motion puppet.”

Each episode of In The Know features a behind-the-scenes episode of Lauren’s show, with the animation host conducting in-depth interviews with real-world human guests.

“Lauren works with NPR’s diverse staff. They’re also puppets and Nimrods.”

In addition to Judge, Greg Daniels and Dustin Davis will executive produce for Bandera Entertainment. Judge and Woods will voice the show.

“In the Know will capture the conversations many of us have in our everyday lives in a highly entertaining way,” said Lisa Katz, president of NBC Universal’s television and streaming scripted content. Working with the industry leaders of Mike, Greg, Zach and Brandon and our partners at Universal Television.”

Judge’s most popular works appear to be experiencing some resurgence this year, with Beavis and Butt-Head returning on Paramount+. The duo also starred in the new Paramount+ exclusive films “Beavis” and “Ass Heads the Universe.” There’s even a hint of King of the Hill returning…but it remains to be seen if that will take off.

Erin Underhill, president of Universal Television, said: “We are thrilled to be working with such a great team on this unique and creative series and can’t wait for audiences to know.”
