Welcome back to Aksia, heroes! Compared to other months, the MMO Lost Ark released by the popular Amazon Games in August this year has quite a bit of content. A nice little fort distraction, pet ranches, and a few other small events were introduced last month as a catch-up mechanic. Other updates in early September this year set the stage for an upcoming server consolidation (which we’ll get to later).

It’s all good, but the new shiny things are the most anticipated! It’s good to know that next week, on September 28th, we’ll have a major update. The Lost Ark of the West will get the Mechanic Class and the Kakul-Seton Legion Raid!

Introducing the Mechanic, the next advanced course in the Lost Ark. July gets Arcanist, May’s Destroyer and April’s Glacier. Mechanics in Lost Ark (known as Scouters in other regions) are the most technologically advanced professions. He uses a trusty drone companion that has more weapons hidden inside than is physically possible. This drone helps analyze and bombard enemies from a distance, giving hell to any hapless monster.

However, what makes mechanics most unique is their class status. Just like the Shadow Hunter, the Lost Ark Mechanic can transform into different forms using his Hyper-Sync Tech suit. Instead of being a demon of mass destruction, this class can transform into basically Iron Man. He can also wreak mass destruction with ease. Hypersync mode also gives the mechanic a new set of skills.

Like all the other classes in Lost Ark, the Mechanic has two distinct class engravings that drastically change his playstyle. The first is Evolutionary Legacy, a class of engravings that greatly enhances the Mechanic’s Hypersync suit mode, causing it to deal more damage and allow users to swap tables more easily without penalty. Arthetinean Skill is the second engraving. This one focuses on joint skills involving both mechanics and drones.

Mechanic skills are divided into three different categories: Normal, Drone, and Articulated. Common Skills is very focused on the mechanic’s individual abilities, especially his trusty SMG. This includes the powerful Avalance that can fire bullets at enemies in a cone in front of him.

Drone skills are attacks performed only by mechanical partners. Hence, they are both called “command:skill name”. We have things like carpet bombs raining on carpets, raid missiles that fire a barrage of projectiles, and even baby drones that summon tiny mechanical creatures that grab enemies and explode.

Finally, there are joint skills, which involve creation and creators. Some of the flashy action here is annihilation mode, in which the drone and mechanic spin around an area, showing everything nearby with bullets.
Server merges incoming
To help ensure that each region has servers with healthy populations, Amazon Games will implement server consolidation. These mergers are more prominent in the Western Europe (EUW), Central Europe (EUC) and South America (SA) regions. EUW and SA are also planning a second wave of mergers.

Amazon Games has published a number of guides on the official Lost Ark website that will help remind players how this change will affect players. For those rosters that only have one server, there won’t actually be any changes. The trickier point is that if a player has a roster on both servers, the two servers will be federated. In this case, Amazon will consolidate roster, currency, items and everything else. Nothing should be lost, except items and achievements that are truly unreproducible.
The initial list of servers and their zones that will be merged is as follows:
Western Europe
- Shadespire will join Rethramis
- Petrania will join Tortoyk
- Tragon will join Moonkeep
- Stone Furnace will join Punica
Central Europe
- Sirius and Sceptrum will combine to create Starlight
- Thaemine and Procyon will jointly create Lazenith
- Nineveh and Beatrice to collaborate on Twilight Fog
- Brelshaza and Inanna to jointly create Balthorr
South America
- Kurzan will join Agaton
- Prideholme will join Vern
- Yorn will join Gienah
- Felton will join Arcturus
Lost Ark’s Ark Oktoberfest
One good thing Lost Ark surprised us with was the announcement of Arktoberfest last week. In celebration of the much-loved annual Oktoberfest, Lost Ark heroes can also choose to participate in their own version.

From now until October 3rd, various Lost Ark Twitch streamers with drop enabled will let their viewers receive a cute little beer head cosmetic. This is basically a cold beer and the character will be forced to balance on his head. Great opportunity to prove you’re not drunk and definitely have another beer.

A special weekend fever time event will also take place. Unlike the usual fever hours that are limited to Saturdays and Sundays, this Arktoberfest will be extended to four days. From September 22nd to 24th, there will be a special fever time. This will provide adventurers with a variety of food lovers such as sausages, pretzels and gingerbread. Other very useful items such as Pheons and dye packs can be claimed.

The last weekend of September will also be in full swing as this will lead to more rewards. A special bonus track will be active from the weekend of September 3rd to October 3rd. This track will take place as long as players log in and explore Arkesia for at least 30 minutes each day. Play for at least 30 minutes a day for 4 days in a row and you’ll be rewarded with great rewards!
