The new Iron Man game is currently in pre-production, which means it won’t be released for a while. Publisher Electronic Arts didn’t reveal a release date or window as part of its announcement, so it’s unclear when the game will be released. Each project typically takes about three years, depending on its developer’s previous release cadence, so an Iron Man game could launch in 2025 or later.
Who is the Iron Man game developer?
EA is working with its Motive Studio and Marvel Games to bring us a brand new Iron Man game. Motive Studio is known for developing Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars: Squadronsand is wrapping up upcoming production dead end A remake, coming in 2023.
The team behind the Iron Man project is led by Olivier Proulx, who Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau and JF Poirier will also join the team.

“We had a great opportunity to create a new, unique story that we could call our own,” Proulx said. “Marvel encourages us to create new things. We have a lot of freedom, which is great for the team. Very attractive.”
The game will feature an original narrative, so it won’t be based on any existing stories or movies. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this upcoming project, but its existence is exciting, nonetheless.
