Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, speaking at the United Nations on Wednesday, declared Israel a “barbaric force” that was “killing children” before adding that Iran remained the protector of Palestinians.
Iranian leaders also Say His country’s nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, and the US “trampled” the nuclear deal. He also called on former President Donald Trump to “face justice” at the UN General Assembly for the killing of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Qassem Soleimani.
“The region has never seen a barbaric occupying force like the Zionist regime before. The killing of children and women is present in the Zionist regime’s dark transcript,” said Raisi.
“The killing of Palestinian women, children and a new generation shows everyone that seven decades of Israeli occupation and barbarism are still with us,” he said.

Raisi called on all Palestinians, “Muslims, Christians and Jews” to create a state, before accusing Western powers of “fleeing and shunning Iranian solutions to the Palestinian crisis.”
Iran’s supreme leader has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel.
He slammed the global outcry over the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, an Iranian woman killed by the authorities’ modest police for not covering her hair. Raisi said there were “double standards”, pointing to the deaths of “dozens of innocent women” in Canada and Israel’s actions in Gaza.
When it comes to Iran’s nuclear program, Raisi has attacked the double standard of the West, which monitors Iran’s nuclear activities while Israel’s own so-called nuclear program is not subject to scrutiny.
He added that Iran would not return to the nuclear deal if the United States could not guarantee that Iran would remain a partner in the new deal.

“We can really believe [the US] No guarantee and assurance that the agreement will be followed this time? ‘ he asked the assembly.
He said that while Iran is “very serious” about returning to the deal and addressing its problems, the country would be fine without it.
“We have managed to eliminate [U.S.] Sanctions in many cases. The ultimate pressure policy failed miserably. We have found our own path, independent of any agreement, and will move forward steadfastly. “
“Iran is not seeking to acquire nuclear weapons. Such weapons have no place in our doctrine,” he said.
