Andor introduced a ton of newcomers to the Star Wars galaxy and re-introduced us to some familiar faces. With so many people to follow, it’s easy to get lost. If you want to find out who’s who, you’ve come to the right place.
We’ve listed every major Andor character below, so you can keep up with everyone’s character on the Rogue One prequel show.Also, fear not, everything below is complete No spoilers, So you can read if you’ve watched the first three episodes.
Cassian Andorra
Returning from Rogue One, Cassian is the protagonist of Andor. The show will follow his journey to become the rebel who sacrificed himself for the Death Star’s plan, but he still has a long way to go. Cassian was taken from his home planet of Kenari by his adoptive mother Maarva and now lives on Ferrix, but can’t seem to get out of the way.
Who plays Cassian in Andor?
Diego Luna is back again as Cassian after debuting as Rogue One. In addition to that film, Luna has appeared in Narcos: Mexico, If Beale Street Could Talk, and The Book of Life. “I had the opportunity to explore many layers of the character, and the movie doesn’t let you do that,” Luna told Andorra’s Total Film in a recent interview. “Here, long-form, we basically have four films. So you have a great opportunity to talk about the paradox of making a person real and making a character real and touchable.”
Malva
Maarva is Cassian’s adoptive mother. She rescued him from danger on his home planet of Kennelly and now lives with him on Felix Island. She used to pick up and sell metal with her husband – which is what we were introduced to her in flashbacks to do, until a young Cassian interrupted her. She is a brand new character introduced by Andor.
Who plays Maarva in Amdo?
Fiona Shaw plays Maarva in Andor. She is best known for playing Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter films and Caroline Martens in Killing Eve. “She’s actually a member of a group called The Daughters of Felix, and they’re like a community of women who hold the earth’s moral standing very well,” Shaw told us about her character. “So she’s a very respectable person, and she’s also a very old person, and by the time we meet her on this series, she’s not very well.”
Bix Karin
Bix is a friend of Cassian, who manages a yard on Ferrix. She and Cassian seem to have a long history and some unfinished business, albeit a mystery for now. Bix is also in touch with Luthen Rael and is dating a man named Timm. Like Maarva, Bix is a new character who never appeared in Star Wars.
Who played Bix in Andor?
Bix is played by Morbius and Good Omens star Adria Arjona. “Bix is doing his best to be the manager of the store and to make sales and make a name for himself at Ferrix,” Arjona told Total Film. “And Cassian is on a completely different journey. So when they meet there is a conflict, and I don’t think the timing is really on their side.”
Tim
Tim and Bix work in the store and they are dating. He’s not a fan of Cassian, though, and his behavior in the first three episodes has made Tim everyone’s least-favorite new Star Wars character. Tim is another brand new addition to a galaxy far, far away.
Who is playing Tim in Andor?
James McArdle plays Tim in Andor. If he looks familiar, it’s because he played the small role of pilot Niv Lek in The Force Awakens. He also appears in Mares of Easttown and Mary Queen of Scots.
Lucien Rael
Another brand-new character, Luthen Rael, is the mysterious man that Bix contacts so Cassian can sell his stolen Starpath units. However, when Lucien arrived at Felix, he recruited Cassian for his anti-Imperial crusade. Not much is known about this shady figure.
Who is playing Lucien in Andor?
Luthen is played by Stellan Skarsgård, whose long career has included roles such as Erik Selvig in the MCU and Baron Harkonnen in Dune. This is his first time in the Star Wars series.
Cyril Kahn
Syril Karn is the Deputy Inspector of the Enterprise Sector Authority, like the Enterprise Sector’s police force – Cassian visits a planet under its control in the first episode.Cyrillic like He does his job and is seriously committed to hunting down Cassian, but he may be out of his depth. Like most of the roster, he’s a brand new Star Wars character.
Who plays Cyril Kahn in Andor?
Cyril is played by Kyle Soller. He has previously appeared in Poldark, Anna Karenina and Titan. “From a traumatic upbringing, he became an outsider, and as a result, he created this ideal that he didn’t have,” Soller told us about his character. “In keeping with the ideal, he recognized that structures like the fascist empire could reward such people, rather than trying to figure it out in everyday life.”
Della
Dedra works for the Imperial Security Service. She’s another new character, so little is known about her or her past at the moment. We haven’t seen her on the show yet, but it’s a safe bet that she’ll catch up to Cassian Andor soon.
Who plays Dedra in Andor?
Denise Gough plays Dedra. Gough voiced Yennefer in The Witcher 3 and has roles in Flags of Heaven, The King’s Child, and The Good Traitor. “I’m very aware that I’m one of the few women in this position, so I really like this,” Goff told Total Film. “But only then you can do things that normally boys can do, and I think now they’re starting to open those doors and show that women can be fascists too, which is great.”
Mon Mothma
Mon Mothma is back! She was last seen in Rogue One, but led the rebellion in the original Star Wars trilogy and took the first steps toward building an empire of resistance in the Revenge of the Sith cut scene. In Andor, she still serves in the Imperial Senate, but she lives a dangerous double life and fights the Empire behind the scenes. We haven’t seen her on the show so far, but she’s going to have a big role.
Who Plays Monmouth Horse in Amdo?
Mon Mothma is played by Genevieve O’Reilly in Andor. She played the role in Rogue One and Revenge of the Sith, and voiced her on the animated show Star Wars Rebels. “Every time I have the privilege of returning to her, I get to know her a little bit more, and I get to know a little bit more about the world,” O’Reilly told us. “Andor, in particular, has allowed me to discover her in many new and different ways.”

Seeing Gerrera back in Andor. He made his debut in The Clone Wars, and then again in Rogue One. He was a rebel who ended up splitting from the main rebels due to his extremism and was killed in Jada, but he didn’t help the rebels find the way to defeat the dead until he provided Jean Erso with her father’s hologram information The key to the star.
Who played Saw Gerrera in Andorra?
Forest Whitaker returned to his role after first playing Saw Gerrera in Rogue One. You might recognize him from the likes of Black Panther, The Butler, and The Last King of Scotland.
